In 1927, FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT designed a series of twelve monthly covers based on seasonal themes for Liberty magazine. When submitted, they were judged to be too avant-garde for the time but would become the basis for later interpretations executed in diverse media. This created the Bulova December Gifts Model: 96A223. Each design is an example of Wright’s practice of using the tools of his trade. <\/p>\n
